Any insight into the Product Development Specialist role at Facebook? My goal is product management and I am currently a strategy consultant with 3 YOE (not technical), but this seems like a possible path toward that goal. The initial total comp brought up was only $110K (base, bonus, stock), which is barely more than I am making now, though they said there was room to negotiate on the stock portion.

Today i got my variable bonus of 10k, i get 59k inhand every month in which 2k gets deducted as tax, today along with the bonus of 10k I got 67k inhand and tax deducted is 4.5k. I'm kinda lost. Can someone pls explain y this?

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. I joined company A 20 days back in the offer letter they mentioned designation as senior analyst and when I joined I got to know that thet gave me designation as just engineer and I am 6.5 year experienced.
