Hello Fishes,

I have 2 offers
1) Accenture with fixed as 28.5 and CTC as 36.2 lakhs.
2) TCS with fixed as 26 and CTC as 32 lakhs.

Which is actually a better offer in terms of in-hand salary? Also ACC is providing me a JB of 4.2 lakhs.
YOE -14.6

Thanks,
Arijit

Accenture

funny

Then in that case TCSs fixed is 32 lakh and variable zero. CTC 32 lakhs.
In that scenario Acc > TCS cause your variable payout will be more than 4 lakh (50%) in Acc even in case of average performance....
Also Acc gives better increments than TCS on an average across job roles and designations.

like

Acc looks better in terms of compensation. Now decide based on roles offered to you.I think for sap both are good. Acc edges over tcs because of brand. What bands did you get? in TCS is it c3a or c3b. and in acc is it AM?

like

Yes, C3B in TCS and AM in ACC. So now it should be ACC right ?

Try to reduce joining bonus and adjust the same amount in your CTC because your next hike will depend on your current CTC

like

Also there might be a retention period clause for the joining bonus. For ex: if you leave acc within 1 year you need to return joining bonus

like

Tech stack?

SAP

Compare the fixed component (including EPF)

If both the numbers are comparable then Accenture is slightly higher. They don't pay all the variable though. Now sure about TCS's variable

Accenture is better

Accenture, as per salary

Ask TCS to match Accenture salary!

They are not matching, I have tried. But what they are saying that their variable components are 100% payable so it ultimately matches ACC offer

Are you a Immediate joiner; is that the reason you are getting Joining Bonus in Accenture ? Or they give it to those employees too who joins them after serving the notice period ?

I don't know about other tech stacks but in SAP JB is a part of the offer letter. One can negotiate on the JB separately too.

Is Accenture still giving Joining Bonus?

It stopped from october new offers

With the probability of variable component to be paid, Accenture would edge out TCS.

At this high package consider Tcs for job security…getting high package is good in this peak hiring season but make sure you join such employer where would be able to save your seat when downfall of this market will come….TCS is the safest best anyday..

I heard Accenture isn’t giving joining bonus anymore any idea on that?

Hey fishes,

I got an offer from a company below is the compensation layout. Can you all tell me what will be the in-hand salary per month, will it be 49k?
I can see that EPF for employer is also deducted from my salary so this is not correct based on the EPF Act, is there some other thing which is not correct in the given Annexure?

Thank you!

Physician Assistant salaries in the Chicago Area? I’ve practiced at an AMC for 5.5 years and make around 116k salary. Outpatient surgical sub specialty, but the same salary “formula” as my previous role in urgent care in the same system. Another AMC offered me 124k 9 months ago for a similar role - which I turned down due to some red flags during interviews. Recently got a 10k retention bonus when I voiced my intent to leave but still feel underpaid as I’m literally keeping my practice afloat.

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?
