What is take home salary if 9.5 lakhs CTC in UST
I had an interview with @cognizant all rounds done with HR AND Salary negotiation, after that I sent an email to them related to my offer status. However, they replied me as, we have kept you on hold etc.
And now @cognizant hr called me 3 times for job opening, and I have told them my offer is on hold. Now, they have scheduled interview. Is it for same or new. It's really confusing for me.
If they release old offer what we have discussed or they will interview me again

Best option would be to enroll in Data or a Business Analyst Course and moving ahead you can lean towards Data Science
Thanks to you
Chief
One of my friend who was Electrical engineer wasted his 3 yrs in a core job then next 2 years doing Mtech but still landed on a package of just 5.5 Lpa. Now he switched to Data Analytics by enrolling in some courses and learned SQL he is now earning 12Lpa.
I am also from electronics background but luckily got placed in Accenture.
Cctc 11lpa 5.5 yoe
Thanks Accenture 1, I will check about the course..
Feels like I'm in deep shit 🤣
Bro, I totally feel you. You must be in those CAD/CAM/CAE profiles working in TCS/Techm. The worst thing in these profiles are initially you feel like you are doing great mech/automotive domain work, but in the long run its repetitive and boring and without proper salary and incentives.
I was in the same boat, with 3.5yrs exp I got to understand it's a dead industry, OEMs ans product don't value you and there are limited options you can't switch. Thankfully I understood and cleared CAT, passed out from a newer IIM and now with deloitte at 15lpa. I had 3.9 lpa after almost 3.5 yes of work. Switching to a better role with 28lpa just after a year with deloitte.
I would seriously let you consider 3 options:
i) the best option but the toughest option: EX-PGPM from Top 5 IIMS. This will require a GMAT score of 700-730. It's tough but doable.. you will land up with a job almost 30lpa at a mid management level. You would need to take a loan of 30akhs..but you would get it easily for the top 5 iims. Dont consider anything beyond the top 5 iims. Best thing only 1 year of mba.
ii) the next one consider using that same GMAT score and try for foreign Bschools.. 680-730 with a proper cv, sop writing would make you eligible for a good bschool and thereon good offers. Little less tough but you would need to consider the financial aspects.
iii) the next one is to use yout network to move abroad..find jobs in Canada and certain other countries which has easier work visas. Financially taxing and unpredictable
iv) use your network to help you land a job in a product company with design role. You may take a lower position but you will grow with time..
v) last I would recommend you data science and other IT companies because.. you will have to start from scratch..your 10 exp is wasted and if you are super lucky they would consider you with the best of 10-12 lakhs.. I highly doubt it.
Best of luck mate. I was super smart to realize the problem and move out. Hopefully you are able to crack something. :)
