I've two offers one is of 28 lac and the technology stack is Java and the other is of 37 lac and the technology stack is Vue Js and may be node on the backend. I'm currently working as ETL tester @ Infosys, 5Yoe, cctc: 6.5
Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? Fishes need help. Wife works in HR, she was put on PIP. She is fairly certain that she will be let go; hence is thinking of resigning instead of trying getting terminated . 2 questions -
1. Her notice period is 90 days vs 30 days of pip. Will she be released at the end of PIP period (even if she does well during PIP)
2. More important - when you resign during PIP, what shows in your background verification - terminated or resigned ?

Since last 1 month I am feeling that I am not getting good opportunity to learn and grow here so thinking of changing the job but my Notice Period is 90 days. Recently I got experienced from 2 HR that they want candidate who can join after max 45 days so I am loosing an opportunity due to 3 months notice period.
