Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

How far in the past is it? A background check usually cannot go past 7 years. If not, is there any way to get it expunged?
Also, a lot of states have “ban the box” laws where they cannot ask about criminal history prior to extending an offer. If it comes up on a background check after the offer stage there is generally the opportunity to discuss the situation with the employer to provide context, I have seen scenarios where the offer was not rescinded due to the amount of time passed and the item on the background check not being related to the role the individual was offered.
Given the nature of the offense? And how recent are we talking? Are you trying to explain the charge away or are you talking about how you learned from the experience and have developed from it?
