Hello, I am two classes away from achieving my Masters of Accountancy. My bachelors is in business administration. I am currently shifting career paths and focused on accounting rather than my sales experience. I have completed a Staff audit internship. I can’t seem to even get in the door anywhere with my experience. Does anyone have any suggestions on entry level positions or careers in accounting that are good to get your foot in the door so I can start my career?

We’ve been trying to fill a cyber security architect position, but we are apparently missing the mark on our salary. We also want candidates that have AWS certifications. 100% remote. We are a consulting company. Is 180k that off base?

been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?
