Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

McKinsey & Company How likely is McKinsey to rescind an offer if there's a recession/downturn before my start date? Received an Associate offer with a start date early in the Fall. But I'm worried about the offer being rescinded due to the ongoing McK scandals/issues and a potential recession in the making (which may prompt them to freeze hiring and/or renege offers).
Has this happened to anyone before at McKinsey, offer getting rescinded due to economic/company downturn? A bit worried

Great job in getting so many bites! I say take whatever position you think you'd be happiest at and that pays you the most fairly. Or if there are several jobs you're interested in, ask when they'll make their decision and maybe be honest and let them know you have other offers. Good luck :)

I’m not an international student, so take my advice with a grain of salt. But I have heard that it’s easier to hire H1B staff if the position is more technical. From what I understand, it is easier to make the case to sponsor someone with technical skills that the average American can’t do. So whatever technical skills you have, try to leverage them.
However, if you have any friends creating a start-up, you could invest in it and come on as a Board Member…little loophole if you’re lucky enough
