Hello. I'm a recent BCA graduate. Its been around one month since. I am interested for Full Stack Developer role as a fresher (no internship experience).

Tomorrow I'll be going to an interview for this role. If I get selected, what is the reasonable salary I should ask for and what is the current market standard for freshers as a full stack dev role?

I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?

Any recommendations on resources to study for Android system design interviews?

Summer intern at BCG. I've been told by a few people that you need to spend your first few cases "earning your stripes" to gain staffing optionality or be servile/loyal to a pyramid to gain access to the cooler case work within that PA. It's seemed particularly emphasized at times.

Is this the standard at McK? I'm trying to guage the staffing optionality and openness of McKinsey culture to direct your random walk.

Can someone tell me how many days does it take for the initial screening to happen after applying.

Also, how much time will it take for all the process to happen ( screening + interview + final discussion).

Fishes need your help on decision making, of course it's a regular post,, got offer from accenture for team lead level 9 with fixed ctc of 17.45 LPA + 1.75 joining bonus + 27% variable pay. Is it ok to join to that level and CTC ??

Why has it been so dang hard to move from banking to a strategy role in my industry or expertise? Or a start up? 90% of my applications have passed on me before even giving me a first round interview! I’ve been on over 6 deals, and wanting out and it’s been extremely frustrating! Any insight or advice?

I’m highly disappointed about the fact that whenever I talk to the HR teams or recruiters about joining bonus, they state there’s no provision. However, my male colleagues or ex co-workers who interviewed for the same position where offered a joining bonus. This has happened to me twice now and I’m starting to believe something is wrong in the system or there is some kind of biased against women at certain workplace.

I accepted a 95k systems engineer role in VA with KBR and is currently going thru a clearance.(MAY START DATE)
Northrop offers me 92k w/ 3k sign on which is 30 min from home in MD for an associate systems role. They also want to give me a clearance but it will start as an interim so I can work sooner than may. MY DILEMMA: Kbr states that they know I need money now so I can accept an offer with Northrop to see if I like it until may.BUT can I have 2 security clearances running at the same time?

I went through the hiring process with this company and finally got an offer. They offered 88k/year and I responded opening a negotiation. At any level above Senior, how do u manage the relationship between utilization and realization, which is an inverse relationship. Seems to be either blow the budget (and write it off), or eat a lot of time.
