At the other big 4 firms - what are the details of the maternity leave benefit? How long does someone have to be employed before qualifying? How long is the leave before labor & how long is the leave after? Thanks!

Has anyone brought their concerns about this turbulent transition to their higher ups on their teams and to be told that associates and senior associates are just being impatient? Gonna keep that in mind when I go to another big 4 because I don’t have the privilege of saying I got any sort or retention bonus- or anything at all for that matter- to entice me to stay.

I’m a 34yr manager in corp dev at a Canadian utility ($2B rev) operating in Canada and US. Hours are no more than 40 a week and I make 165k CAD. I have a PE, CFA and MBA. Career path is pretty slow. My wife is an anesthesiologist ($450k/yr CAD). We live in a tier 2 city in Canada. I want to move and try to get a infra PE / asset manager role in US/ Toronto. Big 4 reached out to be manager. Any advice. torn between staying for pension and trying to pivot at 34 and moving to US.

Been a PdM for a year, department going through a restructure and have been relegated to Product Owner and stripped of PdM duties. I was hired by a SaaS company for 95,000 Fr as a Senior Full Stack Developer. I have 9 years of experience and I worked in multiple startups and technologies. I also have relatively better experience in NodeJS, React, SQL, Elasticsearch.
I wouldn't say I am great at solving coding challenges but I believe with some practice I can get better.
Do you think I can get a better salary with my situation? (Swiss Wage calculator estimates 8500+ Fr. per month for Zurich area).
