I think CloudRx is just a middleman that sends the subscription to your fertility insurance’s pharmacy.
For instance, we have Maven. My clinic also uses CloudRx. Then I got messages from SMP Pharmacy, which is Maven’s pharmacy.
Got it. That’s really good to know. I have still left a note to my fertility clinic to just reconfirm. The process is really overwhelming and is stressful enough among some many other things going in parallel with work.
Agree that CloudRx is just the middleman, and I spent several hours of my life on the phone because of them last week. I'm not at Deloitte, as you can see, but at EY I do have Anthem BCBS treatment for procedures (authorized through Winfertility). The hiccup for me with CloudRx was that I needed to create a CVS Specialty Pharmacy account and input my EY insurance info (both BCBS and Caremark) into that account. This was separate from my CVS account and my CVS Caremark account! Until that point, CloudRx kept saying I needed to get on my "employer list" but gave me no additional info. Hopefully this saves you some time. Best of luck!! I did three retrievals with three separate med protocols, AMA 🙂
I think your clinic will enroll you but if CloudRx calls the pharmacy and they don't see a (specialty meds) account on file, you'll be in the same boat as me.
I believe my in-network pharmacy for Anthem BCBS was CarelonRx
Thank you! I just left them a note and will follow up in the morning tomorrow :)
You should call your insurance about fertility medication, which speciality pharmacy they use. Then you should tell the nurse where to send the prescriptions. You should ask insurance about life time max, how much one round of medication will cost.
I had bcbs anthem also. I used out of network specialty pharmacy because the in network one was very very slow and i didn’t get the medicines on time
