Hi Fishes, Any senior staff engineer here, role associate project manager at Nagarro. I would like to know more details about project allocation and work you do. I recently got selected as one. I can see a lot of heat from developers against nagarro here but what about mid level management such as associate project manager!??
TIA

Are you a tech business analyst? If so, do you want to stay in the tech industry? I would say, scrum master or delivery manager would be common things that business analyst I work with move into. Good luck whatever you choose!
I am a delivery manager. The typical career progression at Pwc goes business analyst to scrum master to delivery manager. you definitely do not need a PMP. Agile certifications are more helpful, for example, from scrum alliance, product owner or scrum master, which is testing only so you don’t have to sit in a classroom which is nice. Scaled Agile framework certifications are also good if you work on large portfolios. Overall, moving into the delivery manager path involves having a lot of experience on tech projects so you can spot the risks and know how to mitigate them. Also work on your communication skills with your customers and how to put things into plain English and budgeting and financial management of products. Good luck!
I don’t know much about engineering but perhaps you can look at your previous fellow students. Where are they now? Also, LinkedIn is a great source of information when looking at career paths. You can check out what others are doing in your field with similar competencies. Wish I could help more. Good luck.
That’s a great idea. Will do that. Thank you
