My interviews with EPAM are done, and I'm about to negotiate the offer. Initially, they said they could offer 28 fixed (that's it they said). I have 6 years of exp and am in the frontend domain. I'm currently getting 17.5 fixed, Is this offer appropriate? If not what is the actual range for the Senior software engineer in EPAM? EPAM Systems

My wife recently put in her two weeks and half the people she worked with are just ignoring her messages. They asked to work longer but bc of her new company she cant. Shes moving for about 60% more pay from external audit to senior accounting. Shes extremely sad and im confused why these firms are so uptight about this. I just had the initial call with HR. I was told that Senior Analysts start at 56k and Business Operations Specialists start at 67k. I was told the next step was Junior Manager but they rarely started anyone at that level. I'm shocked. Is that accurate or are they trying to lower my expectations?
