If Tech Mahindra HR is telling that after joining he will take care of onsite. It is US project. So in U4 Tech Lead position is it possible to send someone US onsite in L1/business Visa?? Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Does your firm allow use of YouTube? I used to work an analyst role that had a rotating coverage portfolio of names each month. Names would get assigned at the start of the month and when your work was done it was just done. I could literally choose to do someone else's work for them or do nothing. Nobody was forcing me to do anyone else's work since it was divided up pretty fairly to begin with. I would fill entire days with youtube videos and nobody said a thing because my work was always done and always 100%. That said, you could probably find a lot more productive ways to use your time, add value, streamline and simplify processes, read industry research, etc..

I’m in the same boat. I was working in a fast food restaurant but now in a residential home and what I found to fill my time was to bring coloring books. I know it sounds and looks kiddish but at least it saves my phone battery and keeps me busy🤷♀️
Improve your skills. Learn advanced functions of XL, like pivot tables, vlookup functions, conditional formulas. Improve your power point creating presentations skills. There are instructional videos on YouTube. This will stand you out among your peers. Managers love people who can manipulate large data spreadsheets quickly and efficiently
I am going to agree with this. Find any kind of online training that interests you and is related to your work. If nothing else, Excel training is usually useful. There's always something to learn - keyboard shortcuts, fancier formulas, creating and using macros, making pretty charts, etc.

I am never doing yoga at a workplace again, no matter how badly I need to recenter/refocus, not even if I’m on lunch break. Multiple workplaces have responded poorly to a woman (yours truly) just trying to take good care of yourself, during her own time while @ work.
