Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

Have you tried rizzing him up with your skibiti sigma? Or is it giving Ohio?
No cap?!
I see your problem and that’s frustrating but starting a post out with the age of the CD as a legitimizer for them being confused is a bad look and prejudice.
Being out of touch or in over your head doesn’t need an age attached to it.
The age thing was just to explain he has worked like that during his entire career and that I probably can't change his mind easily (because I know I'm not the first one there to be confused). I wasn't throwing shade, sorry if there's a confusion. Also, english is my second langage.
From my perspective—There is a fine line between an ArtDirector & a Graphic Designer. I’ve worked under both titles whilst doing exactly the same thing. “Back in the day” Art Directors were delineated because they DIRECTED other people; illustrators, photographers, typesetters. Most Art Directors were hired within Ad Agencies. Now a lot is done digitally and you do it all yourself, more like a designer. Graphic Designers used to be hired mostly for corporations. The line now is definitely blurred. The Creative Director is above both AD or Designer because they pull together ALL parts of campaigns, art, video, radio etc. working closely with the Marketing Director. That’s my take.
He’s the founder? Seems like he set it up that way intentionally… What is there to “handle?”
At some agencies art directors are called “designers” and expected to be hands on in addition to conceptual, which i personally dont think is a bad thing.
If you’re a designer getting paid the same as an ad that isn’t a bad thing either, typically ad’s make more as i understand it.
What are you looking to have change about the current situation?
Did you discuss roles and responsibilities during the interview process? If you were told you’d be leading teams and now you’re not, then that’s you can bring it up via your expectations taking the job. If it wasn’t something you discussed and you’re just expecting this job to operate like your previous ones, that’s not really the problem of your new job.
Start taking lead.
In most digital agencies, AD’s are also designers.

Why does his age matter?
Haven’t you heard? You can’t trust anyone over 30
Uggg old people amirite?!?
Hey, I resemble that remark 😉
A junior getting paid the same as a AD or CD is wild. Where do I sign up?
how many creatives in the company/dept? i've worked at smaller places where ADs are IC and don't manage ppl, but the same pay statement + flat hierarchy is sketch. i've worked with out of touch CDs who don't know how to do their job but have tats, shop at kith, and grift. high chance you're working somewhere dysfunctional, try to make an ally and compare notes! is he new to the role?
