Help!! What’s an appropriate salary range for a HCOL (NYC, or California like SF or LA) tax analyst role and senior tax analyst role. Coming from LCOL (TX) where the range I’ve been offered so far is 80-90. I have 3 years public accounting experience. Been seeing such a variable range (some not even diff from LCOL range).

I have got 2 offers -
Emerson export engineering - 15L fixed + 1.6 variable
Wolters Kluwer - 15L fixed + 10% bonus + 1L joining bonus

Which one is better and which should i join. Emerson is calling to office from 1st days and wolters kluwer have agreed for few months of work from home.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I am holding 3 offers-
Accenture - 13 Fixed + 3.5 var(3.9 joining bonus)
Infy - 15.7 Fixed + 2.8 var(1.25 joining bonus)
CTS - 20 Fixed + 0.7 var(1 joining bonus)

I am happy to join CTS but very much worried about the attrition rate of cognizant recently.

Note - The first offer in the process was from Accenture and they are ready to offer 18 LPA Fixed + 3.5 Var after Revision

I got an offer from another firm for 24lpa but they have shared the offer letter of DOJ after 2 months and asked me to negotiate my notice period or look for buyout. What should I do in this case? Just started a new job less than a month ago in the tech sector. It was the industry I was fixated on when leaving for. However I realise that I don't think I can cope with the fast paced, lack of wlb, with no support - it's really impacting my mental health already....

I try to hide it from my boyfriend, but its impact is flowing into my personal life.
