Every time I try to work with a recruiter, the initial conversation goes great and then I never hear another peep from them. Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to make working with a recruiter worth my time?

How do referrals work?
If I get a referral from someone and I apply, then can I still reach out to a recruiter on LinkedIn expressing interest in the role? And do I let them know that I already applied? I’m sure they get tons of messages so what should I say so that it won’t be overlooked?Im currently unemployed and very eager to get an entry level position in either HR, Marketing, or Project/Program Coordinator in the tech field, so any advice is greatly appreciated.

I’ve applied to AE and AM positions at Amazon and Uber but I can never seem to get past the 1st interview. I have 7yrs sales experience and consistently top3 AM, I sell automotive chemicals and provide business development consolation. I used to have the ability to see a breakdown of past sales, but my company took that away (although I was able to save 2019,2020,&2021 numbers). I have been working in healthcare clinics and health techs for a few years now. I’m an independent consultant. Bust, a friend of mine referred me to a big bank job. The role is of data governance manager. What should I know for the interview, or how can I prepare for it? Any thoughts? They told me I don’t need financial background. Data is data, but they wanted to know metadata management and how do I build frameworks/implement enterprise systems.

Lit boutique v. full-service statewide regional firm as mid-level commercial lit lateral out of biglaw. Things to consider? Pay and non-equity partnership prospects are similar with similar timeline. Regional firm has a much stronger presence in my city, while boutique would involve a more national practice and possibly more sophisticated work. Fwiw I know some people at the regional firm and the people seem awesome. The boutique is full of well-accomplished and super smart lawyers. Need advice!

Just took FAR for the fourth time today 😂 LOTS of not for profit questions and even sims were not for profit!!!!! Definitely more than 5-15% Becker said!!! I got like 60% was based on NFP!
