Hey All,

As my previous employer is closing its doors, I'm back on the market. I have a diverse background in operations, distribution, procurement, and supply chain ops. Though I have run supply chain E2E, I prefer the asset control/distribution side of the business function.

I'm not sure if there are employers on this site (Salt Lake City, UT metro) but if you need control of your assets with digital reporting, I'm your guy!

Good luck to all job seekers out there.

Rough day in the office and in the mood for something that would toss me around and maybe hurt a little. Black peppercorn crusted bacon left on a smoker too long and covered in jam made from under-ripe red fruits. The 59% ABV is definitely present, and you can smell the peat smoke from across the room. The finish lasts for days. If you’re already into peated scotch but want to crank it up another level, the cask strength Laphroaigs can show you your limits. Hurts soooo good 😌

Currently interviewing with EY NZ as a risk management consultant. 1.5 yoe and expat from US. I have a rough idea for cost of living, so what should my minimum salary expectation be in Auckland? I recently got an IBM offer letter. There are 3 options i.e. Accept, Decline and Query.
I had selected the Query option to change my joining date which they did with e mail.
But now in the offer letter section, it does not show the 3 options anymore. But I both have the offer letter and the revised joining date e mail. Is it okay?

Would you lie to get an offer from dream company? Let’s say you did pretty good at interview, and the company (Google) is willing to give you an offer, but team lead at the end of interview asks you about GPA or experience on your resume, etc. Like in reality you got GPA 2.0, but u told them your GPA is 3.5 Would you take a risk and lie?

Boomer. I am in between jobs. Laid off in 10/21 after 16+ yrs, with an ABA firm. RIF. Still on excellent terms. Took my time living off generous package and didn’t seriously start applying until 01/22. Made a rookie mistake and accepted first offer.
Turns out job wasn’t as advertised. Mutual parting of ways 3/22. Due diligence is critical.
Now interviewing a LOT. Some temp work, I still have “it”. I relate to all gens. Willing to mentor AND learn from all. Tech savvy, CTE from day one. Leads?

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience.
