I’m really excited about this one opportunity, I’m interviewing with about 5 other places. I try to remain indifferent so if something doesn’t work out I’m not crushed. But man this is hard.

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? For those in FAAS, accounting advisory. do you have template or other client’s work that you can refer to? Or do you have to start from scratch? Just interviewed with a smaller consulting practice, they said you have to execute and deliver from day one. I have always been an auditor and not to confident if I am to do the work by myself, I can get it all done. I mean I still SAlY when I audit.

US immigration question. Green card interview date was cancelled in March 2020.
