Hey friends- have any of your pivoted from consulting into startups? How did you find startups and what’s typical pay ranges you can expect ( aka same, below or higher than consulting?

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.

In Accenture offer Letter, I didn't get the pay structure, instead HR told me that it can be planned by employee only on the first day of joining. How does it works? I got level 8 .

I have received an offer from KPMG Global Services, HR said there will be 10-20% yearly bonus apart from fixed CTC. But % numbers are not mentioned in the offer letter, Just they mentioned it as " You will be eligible for Performance bonus as per the company policy".

When I checked with HR for bonus % is not mentioned in the offer letter, she said... its not mentioned for everyone. 10-20% is common across all employees.

Is this okay ? OR anyone have their bonus % in the offer

Anyone worked for an in-house agency? Pros and cons? Did/do you enjoy it? Would you recommend it? More stable? More money?

If joining bonus is declared to be given, then is it paid soon after joining or at the month end...This is in context with Capgemini

Hi everyone, I got hired on as entry level sales operations role back in January. It quickly turned into sales, and eventually all the sales for the small company once the head of sales left. I am happy to take on the additional role for my company, and they are going to let me. But they feel that without multiple people in a sales department the title head of sales might not be the best title. I have input in what my updated position title and salary would be. After the final interview, HR reached out and said they would like to extend an offer. HR gave a ball park of 135k - 145k base with about 15k in sign-on equity and 20k annual bonus.

After a couple of days, HR person came back with with 125k base and 20k annual bonus. No sign-on equity anymore. What should I do given that these numbers seem way lower than the initial range provided? HR claimed it’s because of “market conditions”.

Well I worked and got appreciated by the client , always exceeded expectations on clients side (have thank you's and appreciation on mail) . My rating is 3 stating "aapko ek hi saal hua h". Got opportunity for a global meeting to attend in Europe but my PM destroyed that opportunity for me. Past 3 days haven't worked a bit ,felt disappointed and am feeling depressed, it would have been my first abroad visit and the Visa is going to haunt me for the rest of my life.
