One of my friend got interviewed in Deloitte and she was asked to rethink her salary ask in the HR round. She reduced it to 1L less than initial ask. Now the status is in benchmarking approval. What does that mean ? Will they release the offer letter ?

Can anyone tell what can be the salary for a senior analyst in the EY GDS with 5yoe ?
