Anyone successfully take STD or extended long term disability for final IVF procedure? I’d like to take 6 months, Destress before hand then go into extraction. Docs say if this doesn’t work they recommend I move onto other options so I want to give it a fair shot. My clinic will fill out fMLA / medical forms but not sure who ultimately decides the duration. Should I also consider other mental health leave alternatives? Thank you!

I have a question for my fellow PI paralegals in Texas. TPCIGA requires that we submit all medical bills through the clients insurance before proceeding further. The client in question has Aetna. I sent the bills with a cover letter to Aetna via certified mail. I am having so much trouble getting a status on said claim. Does anyone here have experience with that and can assist me? Just how bad would it be to quit without a two week notice? I got my Bachelors in Psychology a few years ago but I couldn’t find a position that seemed like a good option for me that was well paying and fulfilling.
