Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Assuming you were in M&A lead advisory in London prior to your MBA it should not be too difficult to get an associate role at a MM IB. You can always lateral to a BB or EB when the deal market recovers.

I imagine you’re not on the investment banking team with KPMG in London, because if so, you’re best suited to stay there. KPMG has a pretty strong reputation in the UK market for quality deals.
If you’re FDD or Ops/Strategy, I would look to transition to a MMIB like EY1 said.

Must be crap directors. But also as you age, comp becomes less relevant as much as time to spend it.
I’m on par with Directors at MMIBs and have much more job security and flexibility.
I’m early-30s and recognized on an international platform as the sector expert for my country.
Pretty sure I’ve made the right move.
