Hey! I am a 21 year old who went to UBC (Vancouver) in2018 for graduation. Due to Covid we lost all the business and I left my education and came back. I am deciding in-between staying here in India (in Delhi University) or going back to a 'not that reputed' college in Canada. I will be finishing my undergraduate in India in 2023 and probably 2024 if I choose to go back to Canada. It's a tough decision, but would love some advice

I’m seriously contemplating taking a software development boot camp. For those who hire new software developers, does it make you stand out if you get your certificate from a university instead of a coding academy (like coding dojo or something)? I noticed the universities are a bit more expensive but is it worth the price to have a university on your resume or does it not really matter?

Does anyone have experience working for a ALSP? How does compensation work (pay and benefits)? Are you an employee or technically an IC? Do you have billable requirements like at a firm? How do you think it prepared you to potentially move in house? I'm currently at a firm but thinking of taking a position with an ALSP but my goal is to go in house.

Who here has any advice on how to get into marketing at age 40?

I'm two thirds through the PMA Core Certification, and the info is great but the tests are a joke. They need to contract with an educator that specializes in testing and assessment to come in and develop exams that actually measure if you know the material. The bad test design devalues the certification. Not to zero, but I definitely will not be proud to have earned it. It just means I had $1300 and sat through 15 hours of video lectures.

My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated.
