Billable hours in Europe. What is the expected at big law ? I got an offer and I am not sure if these are reasonable or impossible to achieve

For attorneys in small firms with less than 30 attorneys, how often does your base salary get reviewed (non-COLA)? Do you expect annual increases, and if yes, what do those look like typically? Or is it more common for attorneys to stay on the same base salary (bar COLA increases across the firm) for years at a time?

Hello friends, looking at a JP opportunity and hopefully going into the offer process after today’s interview. What I need help is understanding the comp structure in non front office roles ? In Goldman we have PATC ( per annum total comp ) which is nothing but base + “promised” bonus % + RSU.. how do you have total comp defined in JP ? the bonus also a % of base and almost agreed upon ? Example my bases is 200k and bonus is 25 % etc ?

Recently flew RT from IAH<>JRO. Booked through United, most of the legs were on Ethiopian Airlines. Spent around $1200 on economy.

Somehow walked away with 30K miles and ~3600 PQPs? Maybe worth calling out is that the accruals didn’t appear until I filled out the missing miles form, and United customer service upgraded two of my shorter legs to economy+.

How do you know when to up the dose on your meds? Currently on 40 mg Vyvanse. I usually get the peak euphoria feeling (super alert) about 1 hour after i take my meds and it lasts for a couple of hours. I work late but have noticed that i spend too much time staring at the screen and keep jumping between tasks. Would upping the dose help me concentrate on one task at a time?
