I would suggest seeing if you can internally meet folks in the risk and controls area at Chase. My company calls it line of business risk. Chase might be different.
Another spot you might be able to find more information is the internal hiring board - look for jobs you might be interested in. My company posts the internal hiring manager on that job. You could network with folks already reporting to that manager to see what you need to do that role.
Just let them know that you are exploring risk and compliance roles right now. And don’t plan to apply for the current role.
If the recruiter of the role is “available” to chat more about what they are looking for - you might have a gold mine of information of how to figure write your resume for Chase or another company.
Most gurus are saying that should apply to jobs within the first few days of posting. So, not getting in this round is fine. You are prepping for 2-6 months in the future for applying.
What role are you in?? I am in the PB studying for my licenses but don’t know if I want to be in PB…. I was a relationship manager previously and loved my job but not loving PB
