Hi Accenture peeps! I heard from my friends that some of you were actually doing content moderation work over there - is that true? Currently a candidate interviewing for my team mentioned he was heavily involved in content moderation strategy at Facebook but can’t really answer any questions regarding his time there besides image labeling and being part of the line of defense. I suspect he wasn’t actually doing strategy work but want to confirm.

I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? I want the title and the money owed which may be about $15000- 20000.

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Have I been ghosted or is there still hope? Does anyone at Visa have insights? Looks like there are a ton of jobs posted so maybe they are just backed up?
