Need honest advice. Been on a project for 2 years as a sub to Consulting firm X. Team lead is from consulting firm X. New member from consulting firm X comes in couple weeks ago. New member plays similar role as me. Team lead rolls off project and replaces new member as team lead. Is it wrong to feel like I should have that role? I’ve often been seen as the co-lead to this project & often times leading the team together but now I feel like I am not good enough... CONT.

Hi everyone, I have an interview for a product manager role at a health tech start-up. Any ideas what some interview questions might look like?

Would taking a director of legal operations position (jd preferred or a plus) make it hard to get back to practicing in a firm or another company?

How do you get good at thinking on your feet? I find I always need time to think and analyse before being able to answer client queries (even those that are considered simple by others). I don't want to rush and get it wrong. I avoid phone calls for this reason which isn't great when you're in the service industry so it's starting to impact my career.

I am meeting with three people that I would be partnering with for the job and it was shared with me that these interviews will mainly be behavioral as well as questions on my technical skills. I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?

3-4:30 - proposal work if I have it or more job hunting
5-9pm family time and dinner
10-3am - netflix, videogames, cry myself to sleep
