$135k - $165k is a typical range, negotiate the ancillary perks.
If they’re paying $225k for an ACD, they’re doing so for a reason; usually because your eyes cashing those semimonthly checks outweighs the daily stench you leave there with.
$225 sounds very high
I would say more around $150-185
I've interviewed for ACD (VP/ACD?) jobs as high as 190k - I made 165k 2 years ago as one and have seen several at 170-175k. I've been told that anything lower than 150 for an ACD is basically a lowball.
150-190 for ACD, up to 240 for VP.
I’d say anywhere from 140-180 depending on the agency size, VP status, years as an ACD, and how much business you manage. Hcp work tends to pay more in my experience—especially if it’s oncology.
$150-$175 for ACDs. Pharma CDs don’t make $225, at least in my agency.
It might be higher in larger agencies and on larger accounts. I’ve seen an ACD managing a total of 3 writers across two accounts at a smaller agency, and I’ve seen an ACD managing 2 Copy Sups with multiple writers under them on just the DTC side alone of an enormous account, with a whole other set of ACD writer/Copy Sup/CWs on the HCP. I’m guessing the latter one earned a lot more.
This helps. Thanks everyone
