Hi All, I am interested in engineering manager role and would like to know how to get into this role without mba. Is it even possible?

Anyone from Nationwide? I’d like to hear feedback from current and old employees about the work environment, salary (G3), development, diversity etc. I completed an interview for Claims Manager position.

Creatives who left for tech. What is it exactly that you do now? Is it still writing or art directing? Or a different creative role? Hearing about people leaving for tech so I want to know what it means exactly aside from the benefits.

After 4 months of casually applying and 3 months of dedicated searching after work hours, 130+ applications, 5 recruiter screens and 3 final rounds later... finally found an exit!!! You can all do it - I believe in you all!

I got an offer at Meta as a 3-mo contingent CSM that pays 2x what I make now.

Two pros: 1) Making the jump from a non-tech agency role to FAANG can be tough, so this is a great oppo in that aspect.
2) I'm living in SF on a non-tech salary, so the pay increase would be incredible.

It’s possible I could move into a similar role @ Meta once this expires, but to be safe, I'd need to start the job hunt again asap.

Thoughts on the pivot & how valuable a short-stint at Meta is for future job hunt?

The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners.
