My current company has been acquired and is under going restructuring and lots of exits from past management.

Immediately looking for change.

2 yrs exp post MBA and 2 yrs before that as an engineer (non IT/CS)

Current: Finance and product analyst.
Skills: Ms Excel, Excel dashboards, SQL server, Jira, tableau.
Data analysis, financial data analysis, Sprint planning, collaborating with engineers to solve finance data issues.

Need some guidance on where and what roles I can apply.

Is AAS a good area to gain transferable skills and learn a lot? Comparing to audit.

Is it a fail of character leaving biglaw? I want to leave, but despite the constant stress and suffering, I can’t avoid feeling like it’s my fault or that maybe I’m over exaggerating how I feel. All my colleagues feel ridiculously happy, I’m the grinch one that’s never enjoying the grind (but the grind is hard and competitive, very competitive) :( any thoughts? Is there future after quitting biglaw so young?

Senior attorneys at v100, how common is it for attorneys who start at small firms to lateral to biglaw? Have you worked with any? Conventional wisdom is always that if you don’t start there it’s hard to “trade up”. My coworker and I just did it to two different great v30 firms, and I’m wondering if it’s really that uncommon? I want to expand into the world of SEO, but I know its a complex new world for those without experience. Why has real estate remained lucrative?
Mainly agents but also developers.

The barrier to entry is low, not even sure if graduating high school is needed. My old agent even said she did it bc she can make a lot money and not work that much. She drove a new Mercedes and sent her kids to private school, husband was also an agent.

So I’m curious why it didn’t get flooded and the profit margin dampened to a $/hr closer to other jobs with similarly easy entry?
