I have the basic VAPT fundamentals clear and currently have around 1 year of experience in SOC operations and prior to it had a 1 year of experience in VAPT automation during the internship. So for switching the job what should I focus on in terms of interviews. And also if anyone can give a brief about the VAPT interview, then it would be helpful.

I switched 20 days back to Optum. I have 7 years of experience working as a full stack Engineer, who is passionate working on both front end and back end on latest technologies. But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

A junior associate at big law here. When you get emails from recruiters asking for a call to discuss new opportunities, do you respond declining or do you just not respond? What’s the norm? Do you respond to cold emails?

In the current lateral market what is the usual time for hearing a decision after a final round of interviews? For context, final round went really well, it’s not even been a week yet, they thought I was a great fit etc, said they’re expanding and looking to hire someone ASAP. Just wanted to know what others’ experiences have been like.
