For the people who earned the SHRM-CP, did you feel it was worth it? I have an indirect HR position, been applying for more HR focused positions and wondering if this would help. But recruiters just see my most recent role is EA and that’s all they want to talk to me about. Potential client owns an e-commerce website selling graphic design posters (think college type posters) submitted by a freelance artists. Most of sales are from posters based off of celebrity musicians. Does client need a license from the celebrities to sell graphic posters of the celebrities even though it is from freelance artists?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. Hey all, I had a web application running on Google App Engine (from 2011). Didn’t need much caretaking and at some point appengine got an overhaul and now I can’t figure out how to navigate the setup. I’m told the project needs an organization but I can’t figure out how to connect the ancient project with my org. Any googlear out there with some insight?

The thing I struggle with the most on a project is being able to quickly understand the business process of the clients across different industries. Any tips or resources I can use to improve that?

Need a small suggestion. I got selected for HCL technologies and after 2 months they have sent me an email stating the offer is on hold because of some technical issues, when I had a word with HR she told me that the project went on hold.
So my query is if project will come will I be getting my offer letter?

My ECD keeps changing our work before it goes to client and it's cost us making good work. Our books are suffering because he can't get his hands off the tools. Our books are only full of spec now.

When you get stuck on a design or when you are starting a big project, what are your creative processes? Do you look at colors? inspiration? Pen and paper? Illustrate something? Want to work with my designer on a toolbox of steps to pick from to find what works best for their individual creative process? I know my creative process is look at inspiration, pen and paper, then start designing, but I don’t want to assume that’s theirs too.

I have been giving a few interviews lately and every Company is asking me to confirm if i can get my NP reduced from 90 Days to 45 or 60 Days. I'm still under probation but assigned to a Project already. Should I ask my Account Manager and HR about it or its unethical to do so. Am i making a mistake to ask and confirm about NP even before my offer letter or its ok to just enquire what's the process and possibility to reduce NP as we have buyout option too.

Need some suggestions from everyone. I have 4.5 years experience and I was working as contractor in ZS and my CTC in parent company was 7 Lakhs.

ZS were willing to offer me FTE as ZS but at a compensation of meagre 8.5 Lakhs. I tried negotiating but they sticked with this.

How come ZS do that? Why can't they pay more as they generally pay 15+ for 4.5 years experience.
