I was operations manager for some time and I did not NEED certifications but the skills you need would be managing people/brokers and facilities. Understanding the basics of a deal/lease in order to process transactions. Also this role can involve working with your HQ or c suite level leaders to achieve company goals or projects. I’m sure each brokerage utilizes different tools like Slack, Outlook, Salesforce etc but the more platforms you’re familiar with the better. Commercial real estate has had a difficult time since COVID with little growth so make yourself valuable to the company, retain your brokers if possible but always keep your resume updated.
Hi, I am meeting a Leasing agent. Is that something you would be interested in?
Hi! I was wondering is there more than one position availabl?

Depends on if you are pursuing the residential or commercial side....which one are you considering?
Thanks for your response. I have experience in residential property management and operations as well as commercial development and property management. I’m open to going either way. It seems like there’s more movement on the residential side at the moment, but I could be wrong.
