Hi all, I have an offer discussion coming up with TCS HR. I am not too sure how much I should quote. I see many posts here with 6-7-8 yrs Exp guys asking 35-40 lpa and that is creating a lot of confusion.

My current ctc is 17.4 lpa, which was recently updated thanks to the retention bonus I got last year. Current company - wipro. YoE - 10 yrs. Tech - Pyspark with AWS.

Should I just go big or start small and keep asking better value in other companies? In either case, what should I quote?

But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. Now I am unsure how I convey this to my manager coz I want to stay here but at the same time I am salivating over this new offer and wish I get similar numbers here. Is it worth raising a discussion? I am feeling lost in job. So I’ve applied for Accounts payable they offered 40k. I said why not to gain some experience. I didn’t even bother negotiating which I regret.
Fast forward I noticed that I was eventually handed everyone’s workload (AR & imports & duty and check coworker work + AP) Spoke to them about pay increase based on workload. So they raised it to 55k.. but I still feel underpaid based on the amt of work I do. I don’t know what my title or what to put on resume..

After two rounds of interviews, agency recruiter asks when I can start. Then asks what salary I’m looking for. Then silence 👻 I followed up last Friday. When should I follow up again?
