Hi,All I joined one company after being laid off from one MNC. Basically, after 8 mnths, I got that job, and the thought is that after that joining, I realized that company actually worked on PLM, but I interviewed at that company as a MERN stack developer, and the work culture is too toxic. The company owner is always threatened and all, and I am just giving up now. I am not leaving that cause of the 1.3 lakh bond for 2 years. And now I feel the mental pressure and am very depressed pls suggest

So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?

Expecting an offer today from Deloitte consulting (commercial). Would love to hear tips and advice on how to react to the call and negotiate/what to negotiate more for. I was laid off back in the fall and will 100 percent take the offer - super excited!! But don’t want to show my emotions. TIA

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs.
