I cleared 1 technical round. Then got call from MasterCard HR he said 38 LPA is max budget for specialist( Level 7) at MasterCard,if you are ok then will go ahead? Is it true ? I am expecting 45 LPA fixed from MasterCard. I requested to consider for lead role if budget is issue. As my experience is 12 years but hr told 13+ experience required for lead. Is it true ? How much experience required for L6 (lead / individual contributor role ) ? How much is salary range for L6 role at Mastercard ?

Know yourself. Know your experience. Be yourself, cool, calm and collected.
I was the same when I had my panels. Frantically looking around for what might get asked but in the end the questions I was asked were either about my experiences or problems that were unique to the company/team/org I was interviewing with. It came down to being my self and being authentic NOT answering questions correctly which I really didn’t answer correctly. Most of the time it’s about being a good fit and willingness to grow/learn.
Thank u!!! Will definitely keep your tips in mind… 😊
I recently went completed panel interviews. If you have a recruiter that you’re working with I’d suggest asking who you’re meeting with, how/if your role would interact with them and even ask how they’d suggest preparing - case via behavioral questions. You can also find info on the team if you have names and do some LinkedIn digging. I’ve found that most questions were around my process - how I breakdown issues, what steps I take to determine action and how I communicate with various stakeholders.
Thank u… this really does give me an idea of what I shud prepare for…
First of all, congratulations on passing through to the panel interview stage! Remember: if they weren't already interested in working with you, you wouldn't have made it this far. Like others have mentioned, simply be yourself. You can prepare all the "right" answers in the world, but it doesn't matter whether you ace the interview if you're still not a fit for the team. Plus, interviewers can see through the facade - we're pretty good at recognizing when someone is inauthentic. ;)
Thank u!!! That’s awesome… Appreciate your feedback!! 😊
Echoing what others have said. I look for genuine responses over rehearsed answers. If you’re nervous that’s okay, most of us have been nervous when interviewing. Just remember that if you’re stumped on a question, you can ask for more clarification or take a pause to think.
What I always appreciate is when someone is self aware enough to admit what they don’t know or where they need to grow. If you’re honest about that and eager to learn, I’ll take that chance on you over someone who pretends to know everything or says they’ve never been in a difficult or uncertain situation at work.
Good luck!
I got the Job!!!! Thank you for all the support!!!
