Hi all, I ve quitted my job 2 times in the past 3 years, and they always work something so I can stay, I like the company I work for and like what I do, I gave them my resignation letter again on Friday and they want to give me another offer today so I stay with them…I don’t know what to do, Iam quitting because I’ve been remote ever since CoVid but now they want everyone in the office again. During COVID I moved an hour away and had another baby so is hard to make the commute. Would you stay?

Leave and put them behind you. Better things ahead.

Thank you!

You are going to get a lot of responses here telling you to just ditch the place since they are requiring people to come back to the office.

However, it says something that they have worked with you to get you to stay in the past. If you can come to an understanding about working 100% remote then I don't see why you should quit.

Did you tell them it’s cuz of the in office requirement? If they are willing to put together an offer, some companies will include that as part of the package

Tell them a 2 hour daily commute doesn’t work for you and your family. They either let you stay remote or you hold firm and thank them for the opportunity but that it doesn’t work for you.

Just so you all know, I also feel Iam stuck in same position even tho I was promoted … and I don’t want them to think Iam manipulating them to get what I want …

Don’t leave a job until another is lined up. For your family’s sake.

Talk to them and they will make an exception for you if they want you to stay.

Hello all,
Now i am worrying to join nagarro after seeing that people are on bench from last 1-2 months.
I have an offer from optum and nagarro.
Only reason to choose nagarro is WFH.
Am I doing wrong to choose nagarro over optum.

I am Java developer.

I was told a position is expected to return to the hybrid mode and not 100% remote eligible. Has anyone successfully negotiated a role labeled this way to become fully remote?

Guys. I need your suggestion. Shall i stay here in Kolkata or return back to my home town for a month or two provided Magnet doesn't have any space. My home town is nearby. It's not commutable by road but i can come here in short notice if any. I'm currently not assigned to any project so no one checks if I go to office. I have a home here, I have updated address of this place in Kolkata. But I want to stay in my home for some more days 🥺 Salt Lake will open then I would have no option to leave

UPDATE (RE: SoCal Assistant Controller Interview)

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Not sure if Im hired or not, but are there any questions about the job, comp (cont.)
