Dude, same. Lmk when you find this blacklist we're on 🙃
Palo Alto has a great product set but awful sales management.
Be careful what you wish for.
Try to talk to people who actually work there, to investigate their culture.
When they purge the sales team, when numbers are done, they also purge the SEs working with these salespeople.
... "when numbers are DOWN ... " ...
Do you know why you wanna work there? List the reasons here and I can help you understand what is in the way.
Tbh the biggest motivation is that I have been monitoring Palo raise to grateness since the beginning and actually took part in this just way as partner SE. Now after 8 years I feel like I'm skilled enough to join them. To me it feels like Palo could be my last job. They are so big that scope for growth and development is huge.
Also, since I feel like I'm an extension of the team I might as well work at the source.

There are no rules dude. Following established recruitment procedure will sometimes get you nowhere. Try to find a manager on LinkedIn for the relevant region/role and approach directly. If you’re lucky, and position yourself correctly, you might get some help. If not, you’ve lost nothing.
