Hi all, I've been applying for jobs since Jan 2025 (Ontario) without much luck. I am looking for a role in marketing as a marketing manager or account manager. I bring in a plethora of experience be it digital marketing, account management, content management or data analytics. I have an 8+ year job experience. I went to a T14 law school, got great grades and glowing recommendations, and wrote (what I thought was) a great writing sample. But I got rejected from all 70 federal clerkships I applied to. The only thing I can think of is: I took a non traditional route after law school and did a 2 year public interest fellowship in a niche field of administrative law. The rejection gave me a lot of self hatred. I still really want to clerk. Any advice? What is wrong with me? I feel like a failure.

New to Toronto, moved to the west end of town/ just past - in Etobicoke. I celebrate my 40th a few days after NYE/NYD - would love some recommendations on moderately priced but nice ambiance restaurants for myself + husband, and my extended family. Everyone is scattered throughout (Hamilton, Barrie, Lyle, Newmarket, North York). Don’t want anything too fancy but don’t really know where or what is good and not downtown.

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?
