What expense ratio is considered higher than usual? Looking at my rollover IRA account with Vanguard where I’m invested in a target retirement fund, expense ratio is .15%
Compared with my current employer 401k plan with Fidelity where also I’m invested in a target fund, expense ratio is .09%

How do PPMDs make sure when you are replacing an incumbent, you don't get handed down a broken system ? What sort of knowledge transfer and contractual framework do you get the client to agree to and how do you negotiate on that?
