Would anyone be willing to review a resume? I've had quite a few versions of mine, and I tend to get all kind of advance, but the more the merrier. By way of background, I have 10 years of experience.

So I got invited to do an on-site interview and as part of it, the hiring manager wants me to present some of the chemistry I'm currently working on. The problem is all my work has been government contracted and hasn't been published, so due to confidentiality I can't present any complete schemes or specific structures. Any tips on how to ace this presentation?

If you go for interview and you sort of know that the person interviewing you might be curious about something on your negative on your resume like why is there a gap or why were you in XX role for so long?

Do you address it pre-emptively? Or does that show insecurity and you leave the elephant in the room and wait till they ask you?

I guess this is more in the case of networking than interview like do you make your own story?

What margins and font size are you all using for your resume?

How do I ask for feedback from a client I. E. Via an email?

I run a small SaaS startup. I am looking for a growth manager for my company, who can wear multiple hats. She should be able to do presales as well as helping me in the building strategies for the company. Any help, what should I look for in an ideal candidates? "You are one of two candidates in the final round.

One thing we haven’t spoken about are your salary expectations. Could you have a think and let me know early next week as well as your employment status (residency permit)."

Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. I’m really annoyed and tired. Thoughts?

I already got a job offer in Singapore and had submitted all the docs required to HR. My question would be how long is the EP's processing time? And what are the chances to have my EP application rejected? I have 4 years of experience at my current firm, is that too little?

I had a phone screening with a recruiter (who is a TD Industries employee- not outside recruiter) I asked specifically when they were looking to hire on, he said a month give or take a few weeks. That was on September 9th. I sent a thank you followup email the next day with letters of recommendation like I had mentioned in our conversation. What holiday party did you get?
Anyone living close to an office, got a holiday party with food and drinks, and the venue started open for them until around midnight. Our remote workers got a one hour party w a DJ and trivia that let you win gift cards. Yeah it was nice to win a gift card but I found it lame in comparison to hanging out with my team in real life.

I give massive kudos to all the parents out there juggling work and home life. But it’s starting to feel like I pulled the short stick by not having a kid.
