I applied for few SA roles at AWS after getting the SAA certificate and some badges like the “WAF” and “Advanced Migration”. I also optimized my resume recently trying to match what AWS would look for, but I did not get any 1st call or screening interview!

Qualified Dividends: I’m expecting $650-$750 qualified dividend in 2021. Salary and base about $250 total. Questions: what tax rate will the qualified dividend be taxed at? The 15% or 20%? Folks - when you calculate the total diluted share counts, does the result have to tie to the reported diluted share counts on the most recent filing (either 10K or 10Q)?

Lots of right wing hysteria about liberals trying to engineer equality of outcome to correct sexual/racial inequities (in higher ed, for example). I think we all want socioeconomic, gender and racial barriers to opportunities to be addressed, but no significant number of people really believe in equality of outcome right? This is just a straw man argument.

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

After following with hr, they say they are waiting for feedback on other candidates. Fair enough, but it has been almost a month and hr is not giving me final word on whether they want to hire or not. Any advice on what's happening here?

I’m asking to get my notice period waived. I have a 30 day notice period per the employment agreement I signed, but it says they can waive it at any time after I gave notice. Im not going to a competitor or even the same industry. How likely is for my current firm to allow this?
