Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. If your area is firm-wide influence, capability-building, and momentum (not just project delivery), Kotter’s program is unusually well-tuned to senior leaders. It packages their movement-based change approach into a multi-course pathway. It’s explicitly about leading behavior shifts, building coalitions, and sustaining results—very aligned to knowledge/innovation portfolios too. Besides this CCMP is pretty straightforward and is a more generally applicable framework from ACMP.
Prosci is as basic as you can get — a great starter certification for somebody that’s been tasked with serving as a change champion or junior analyst / consultant. The Kotter certification is a little bit more advanced, focusing on leading change initiatives as an OCM lead or sponsor. Both paths will provide the requisite educational hours to sit for the CCMP exam, which is really the standard designation requiring recertification like PHR/SHRM-CP, etc.
For a more professional training on the subject, I recommend HUCMI (https://hucmi.com) or Prosci (https://www.prosci.com).
