McKinsey & Company Hi, can someone explain what does "keep in touch" recruitment email mean? Does that mean there will be an upcoming opportunity, if so; what is the time frame ?

I have been shortlisted earlier this year, and due to hiring freeze, the process did not move forward. Now I have received this email this week. McKinsey & Company

Protocol for responding (or not) to unsolicited emails from recruiters to your work email? In other words, is it acceptable to just ignore without a response? Or do you prefer to keep the line open with a brief “thanks for thinking of me, I am not interested at this time but hope we can collaborate in the future.”
