I am a strategy consulting enthusiast from a middle class family. Don't have the financial stability to take a loan for an MBA and hence had to drop some renouned admits this year (Think top IIM's) due to family circumstances. I still dream big and request you to provide some insights for my research:-
1) Average expected package of an associate
2) Average experience expected at ZS to get hired at associate (not BCN)
3) Good books to upskill and ace the consulting case interviews

I am an MBA and my prospects are the following: Analyst Advisory position at Deloitte or Senior Consultant at a boutique mid-market firm.
Would appreciate any advice or insight I can get which one I should lean more towards and why (growth, career trajectory, learning opportunity)

Currently SM at Bain (4 years post MBA) and was approached for a senior associate role in portfolio ops at a large PE fund. Been told 2.5 years to VP and another 2.5 years to director. Feels like the role is a bit junior but offers a 50% pay jump.

Thoughts on seniority? Also, any interview resources for PE portfolio roles?

I’ve done some soul searching of late and established I’d love to be offered a FTE role in my current company. I think this is partly due to never having had a full time job which I’ve enjoyed and which have valued my contributions. I think this is due to wanting to feel accepted. I know acceptance needs to start with me etc but I think redundancy and workplace gaslighting has meant I’ve never achieved growth and status in one company where I can truly grow. Need help building an electric schedule for a production schedule with a Gantt chart style view (sort of)

Currently have an excel list with resource (production line), start date and time, and then also the name of the item being produced.

Any ideas how to tackle this??

I’m thinking a stacked bar chart with the vertical categories to be my resources and horizontal the date/time and then each individual bar to be the name of the item being produced.
