Got an offer from HCL Technologies (₹33 LPA, 6 YOE) — accepted, BGV cleared, joining date is Aug 14.
Resigned from my current company, skipped bonus, even arranged early release.
Now I’m being told client dropped the project, but no official update yet.
Super stressed — will they still onboard or reassign? Anyone faced this before? 🙏
I was selected for HCL after successfully clearing multiple rounds. I submitted all required documents on **iOnboard hcl portal **as instructed and after HR discussion, HR told that offer letter would be released by Friday EOD (Jul 18 2025). I waited till Jul 22nd and give a call to HR. she said position is now on hold without any clear timeline or prior indication.
I have invested significant time and effort in the entire selection process. I feel like it is disrespecting the candidates.
Hi , same happened with me. It's been more than 2 weeks and there is no update. HR just told me that the position is on hold.
I would suggest if you are getting such high package prefer going to some products based company no service based like hcl if project is finished or on hold then due to high package you will not get opportunity on bench for roles where your expertise on ai is not required

It is very tough for them to assign, i also get an offers from hcl but they are not ready to offer 33 just giving me 29 with 6.6 yoe, I have an offer for 33 from other organisations but I m planning to join hcl. Hcl is same as other services based will get very less hike.
