Trying to apply for analyst/consultant roles in alot of companies but dont get any calls from HR.

I'm in TCS and on Notice period almost a month left and our manager informed that current project is getting dissolved in 10 days, like is there any chance of getting early release? Should I talk to manager .
As I never discussed anything with him before resigning because as he never appreciated my work even I have worked on most critical features and completed before deadline.

I’ve been seeing this a lot more recently and just had to make a thread about it. I refuse to believe that anyone on here has actually been asked to work a 100hr week. People come onto this thread with legitimate questions and concerns and I just see people trying to scare them out of public which inevitably makes it worse for everyone else who sticks around. Even an 80 hour week is debatable and that is the absolute top. Stop trying to be an attention getter. We work, but not 24/7.

One of my partners asked me to start "pushing things down" to our paralegal to save on legal fees for our client....but I don't think he knows that our paralegal's billing rate is higher than mine (2nd year, and she's been here for like 30 years).

Stuck in a project
I resigned a while back but I am stuck in a support project.The mgmt won't release me even though I have made clear that am unhappy and uninterested,asking me to join meetings and standups.
I don't know a lot about a module but I have been made a lead of that of the module. The way of working sucks, as the client adds an entire feature in a story.Others who knew about the app have been released. How dumb can be CG management and higher ups.Everyday I am waiting for the weekend

PwC Deals Strategy Senior Associate salary? Tier two city.

I’m currently on a Secondment at a PE firm (100% utilized, 6-9months) and my partner still asks me to help out with BD/sales at EY. I’ve said no several times and now she’s becoming demanding. How should I navigate through this? Still wanna maintain a good relationship with the partner and EY, but been so close of just hanging up the call several times.

Do I need to have a strategy portfolio when I am applying to jobs? Most applications have an optional box to put a link, but I’d rather bring examples of my work to the interview

Hi fishes. Is it a fact that PWC payscale is relatively low compared to other Big4s?

I have been approached by PwC HRs twice in last 2 months, both times they did not even shortlist me stating that my expected CTC is high.

My profile:
YoE =6.5yrs + 2yrs tier2-MBA
CCTC=16.5
Expected CTC= 1.4x

2nd time they approached, I even brought down my exp CTC to 1.3x. Still they said PwC does not have budget.

I already have offer of 1.45x from another Big4. Its only PwC that is not budging. :(

Anybody else getting sick of product management? Where does one go from here? Thanks!

Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)
