Has anyone here successfully transitioned from industry into Bain as an experienced hire (vs traditional MBA recruiting)?

I’m about 3 years post-MBA, currently in industry, recently applied for a Consultant role at Bain & Company and am about to take the online assessment.

Curious how different the process is for experienced hires vs MBA recruiting, and realistically how common this transition is a few years post-MBA.

Would appreciate any advice.

I was selected for a l3 role via IJP in the 1st week of may and the hiring manager informed me via email that i had been selected for the role and requested confirmation to proceed with offer letter generation. I didn't hear anything from HM after that. When can I expect to receive an internal offer letter? Should I contact HM to know about the status ? Please provide some insights. TIA :)

I’ve been a licensed general lines (2-20) insurance agent for year and a half and have sold around 2M in premium, of which most of it is personal lines (homeowners, DP), and some commercial lines business. For folks who’ve done R1/R2 interviews at BCG… how useful did you find the CaseCoach courses? I’m a week out before my R1 and I’m wondering if it’s going to be time we’ll-spent. Would love to hear “ignore this, definitely do that” sorts of advice if possible. (For background: I’m familiar with Victor Cheng, I’m using RocketBlocks, practicing live cases, consumed a bunch of YouTube videos, etc.)

Does the location of your MBA program limit which office you can recruit too? I want to work at MBB in NYC and have an admit to Stern and Ross however Ross is providing an 80k scholarship. I’d like to take this scholarship but I really have a desire to be in NYC post mba.
