If you’re tying to be an advisor, FC, Wealth manager for a top IB then you need to network. Blindly applying isn’t enough. These are incredibly competitive and cut throat jobs. Having a good GPA from a state school isn’t enough, and just fyi UNCG is not a target school, so your not getting any recruitment favors. You need to stand out.
Not saying it’s impossible, but you will have to grind to grow your network if you want a fighting chance. Best of luck.
When do you graduate? Are you applying for summer internships or full time positions? A lot of entry level analyst roles at least here at JPM are filled by former interns.
I graduate May 2025. I have applied for internships as well as entry level analyst roles. I am open for any kind of opportunity.
You are better off starting with a big four firm cuz chances of being hired straight outta school are higher
It's difficult to get into investment banking from a nontarget school (such as unc chapel hill).
I'd definitely try a big four firm or try the financial analyst program at wells fargo

You don't have any relevant experience, average GPA and not from a target school. Should probably start looking into other career paths; IB is not going to be attainable for you until you get an MBA or CFA.
