Since you already have a confirmed IBM offer with a significant hike, I would suggest not resigning immediately. Wait for the PIP outcome and understand whether you're eligible for severance or notice pay if the company decides to separate you. Just make sure the IBM offer letter, joining date, and background checks are finalized. In most cases, it's better to secure all available benefits from the current employer before moving on.
